Nora
Uhhhhhhhh, prolly some mature themes and stuff ahead? (Angst, Suggestive stuff, etc) Just read with caution ^^
Many of the things here will likely make zero sense, because most of the context is still only in my brain lol.
Who even is Nora?
A gunslinger (yehaaw!)
-Takes on missions as a Treasure hunter to earn money
-Can use telekinesis
Works with Beau, thus -> Beau & Nora!!!
Business partners and friends with Junko
More context in the webcomic (kinda outdated tho)
Fun facts:
- Nora is a great cook (she had formal training)
- Nora suffers from survivors' guilt
-> Funnily (and ironically) enough, the only reason why Nora would work and spend time with
Beau is because Beau has such a dogshit garbage personality to the point that Nora believes
that she wouldn't get attached to Beau (and because Beau is somewhat competent too at their
job I guess)
- Nora would like to beat Beau up (I would too)
- Nora will end up fully blind (if she keeps up this lifestyle)
- Nora can pilot spaceships
- Nora is a clone (The 9th attempt)
I cannot stop thinking about Nora. Like whenever I think about any of my characters, 80% of it is just Nora. Something about that little rat creates an unlimited resource of joy and inspiration. I already did love Nora, even when she looked like a boring ass inkling with a tail. But after the rat redesign, It was like she really came together as a whole. It gives me immense motivation to work on anything that is remotely related to Nora. Maybe too much, because I have too many projects in mind, in which Nora has some role and I want to do them all at once... She is a labrat, a cook (ratatouille,haha), a friend, a slave/ hitman?, a treasure hunter- She is everything to me!!!!
BEAU & NORA
The main-project Beau & Nora is on hold right now. Will probably redo it someday for a third time. But with a different starting point, because I won't try to do the same plot three times and fail. I have the most longevity for this project (it can go on the longest), but its grand scale is the reason why I feel exhausted just thinking about it, even with Nora in it. So this will have to wait.
Two Mice and a lonely shooting Star
The current project with her I'm working on is about Noras Nina's mice friends, a very sweet
slice of life with a touch of romance, but Nina won't get any of them sparks :3

The current pairing that I have in mind the most is Lu and Nina (onesided by Nina). I just think it's fun. Because then this would be a true love triangle, aha! Coco and Nina feels... complicated for plot reasons... A Poly ship of them all would be fun too, but it would be too peaceful for my taste.
Assassin Arc (dunno how to call it)
An another Project I have in mind is about the first time Nora gets to meet Junko. And their big fall-off.
Btw, Impromptu character description of Junko for context:
shrewd business woman: Works with artifacts, developing ways to incorporate them into daily life
(also offers a service to repair spaceships)
Business partners (/client?) and friends with Nora
Only loosely acquainted with Beau
Details:
- Junko smokes (she's running a business so that probably is very stressful)
- Junko relaxes in a cold bath
Some Backstory:
- Junko and Nora used to work together more closely alongside her sister Nui
- An unfortunate Incident occured, where Junkos sister ended up in a comatosed state, leading
up to Junko and Nora to part ways
-> Junko wanted Nora to stay but Nora left Junko to care for her
sister alone like the coward she is
TIMESKIP
- As Nora works with Beau, she struggles financially a LOT
- Junko gives Nora very good deals for missions, etc compared to other clients, so Nora has grown
kinda financially dependent on Junko and Nora hates it (hurts her pride)
- Nora cooks up meals for Junko regularly
There are also two additional characters tied to that project that I'm currently developing. Looking forward to forging the rat-cat-relationship >:3
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I'M TOTALLY NORMAL ABOUT THIS-
The Nora-Junko pairing has been in my brain for a while already, like, they already have some history together, even before Beau worked with Nora. So it's really hilarious to imagine them getting nasty, while Beau is somewhere else, probably looking for more treasure or something.
In the dark ---
Something that is just recently invading my head is an alternative Timeline in which during the time
with Junko, Nora ends up blind, because she overused her eye powers. And thus, instead of that
fall-off/ separation, Nora cannot leave Junko and is completely dependent on her.
PEak Fanfiction material, lol.
The codependency kills me: Nora feeling useless, because she cannot fight, use her convenient telekinesis, cook, and she cannot do any of the basic chores. She will definitely feel uncomfortable to being in Junkos care for EVERYTHING (at least in the beginning) and also because she sorta is trapped in Junkos home for who-knows how long. Oh, and they probably fuck.
Maybe i could make a comic about it? Probably not, haha.
Her Fate
I've been thinking a lot about how Nora could die. Maybe she gets killed during her line of work. Or she kills herself. Or she dies of "old" age. She probably won't be able to live for too long with her being a Clone and Testsubject and her Lifestyle overall. Don't worry, I love her too much to kill her off for any story :3
